I more meant in terms of setting a tone. Two winters ago, we were repeatedly losing power to a quarter of the province during the hoarfrost. If this was the result of some wind and rain, I’d better learn how to cook a can of beans on a fire.

I’ve dragged the generator ou t twice this month already. First time, power was out 19+ hours.  The second time was 6+ hours. There was a third power outage this month, but it lasted only 3.5 hours.  I was just preparing to fire up the generator when power was restored.
